Sony and Mojang announced Minecraft Tools recording that Minecraft would find its way to the PS Vita in due time. Any content that fans could possibly have picked up for that last-gen version of Minecraft may also transfer onto the Xbox One edition.  Previously gamers were informed that only almost all of the DLC packs in the Xbox 360 version would also be available on the Xbox One.  Clarifying the status of Minecraft add-ons to the Xbox One, producer Roger Carpenter revealed on Wednesday that many single existing DLC has now been confirmed to carry onto the modern platform.  Furthermore, fans that have previously purchased the information for the Xbox 360 should be able to re-download the DLC packs for no additional charge.

"With so many included add-on content packs, Minecraft: Wii U Edition brings a thrilling collection of Minecraft content and experiences to Nintendo fans," said Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America's President and COO, in the release. "Wii U players could have a lot of why you should go back for this iconic gaming experience."
